Voices of the East Cascades High Desert ecotone.

In order to construct a society based upon progressive, democratic and ecologically sustainable values, one that will survive the long term, we must also build local institutions to support this common goal, including a strong shared culture capable of critiqueing our current system and imagining a better future.

We want to open up spaces in Central Oregon for literature, poetry, art, performance, music, and cultural criticism to shape our democratic eco-socialist vision, both online and out in the community.

That’s the reasoning behind Wildrose Journal.
